Error types that can occur during EtherNet/IP communication

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

API name that is no longer supported.

§reason: &'static str

Reason the API is unsupported and the replacement to use.

Implementations§

Source§

impl EtherNetIpError

Source

pub fn is_retriable(&self) -> bool

Returns true if the error is likely retriable (e.g. timeout, connection lost). Use this to decide whether to retry an operation or reconnect.
