The facts of a sequence, one row of pg_sequence.

Fields

ty: u32

The OID of the type of the values.

start: i64

The first value.

increment: i64

The step.

max: i64

The largest value.

min: i64

The smallest value.

cache: i64

The number of values to cache.

cycle: bool

True when the sequence starts again after its last value.

file: u32

The file of the sequence, relfilenode. Catalog::create_sequence sets it to the OID of the sequence, and a rewrite of ALTER SEQUENCE gives a new file.

data: SequenceData

The row of the file when the statement made the file. nextval and setval change the row outside of the transactions, so the session keeps the row of a file after the first change.
