pub cwd: Option<PathBuf>,
pub env: Vec<(String, String)>,
pub clear_inherited_env: bool,
pub originator: Option<String>,
pub merge_stderr_into_stdout: bool,
}Expand description
Request shape for spawning a daemon-owned pipe-backed session.
Fields§
§argv: Vec<String>Program and arguments. The first element is the executable.
cwd: Option<PathBuf>Working directory for the child. None leaves the daemon default in effect.
env: Vec<(String, String)>Environment variables to overlay onto the inherited environment.
clear_inherited_env: boolStart from an empty environment before applying Self::env.
originator: Option<String>Optional label used by list filters. None lets the daemon assign one.
merge_stderr_into_stdout: boolMerge stderr into stdout instead of keeping a separately attachable stderr stream.
Implementations§
Source§impl PipeSpawnRequest
impl PipeSpawnRequest
Sourcepub fn new<S: Into<String>>(argv: impl IntoIterator<Item = S>) -> Self
pub fn new<S: Into<String>>(argv: impl IntoIterator<Item = S>) -> Self
Create a spawn request from argv with inherited environment and separate stderr.
Sourcepub fn with_cwd(self, cwd: impl Into<PathBuf>) -> Self
pub fn with_cwd(self, cwd: impl Into<PathBuf>) -> Self
Set the working directory for the child process.
Sourcepub fn with_originator(self, originator: impl Into<String>) -> Self
pub fn with_originator(self, originator: impl Into<String>) -> Self
Set the originator label stored with the session.
Sourcepub fn merge_stderr(self) -> Self
pub fn merge_stderr(self) -> Self
Merge stderr into stdout for this session.
