Variants

SingleInstance

Held for the whole life of the agent process. One holder per host means one reconciler per host.

Allocation

Held only while one runtime is being created, so that two concurrent allocations cannot both read the same headroom and both use it.

CredentialRenewal

Held while one process rotates the credential shared by a service and foreground tools.

DependencyCache

Held while a launch leases a dependency-cache namespace, or while a prune moves an idle one aside, so a prune never takes a namespace a runner is about to use. It lives in the cache root, not in state/.

DockerCleanup

Serializes daemon and operator Docker cleanup sweeps.

GitCache

Serializes independent Git snapshot readers/writers for one repository.

Update

Serializes manual and automatic application updates.
