Enum Error

Source
pub enum Error {
    Db(DbError),
    Settings(CodedError),
    Mail(CodedError),
    Link(CodedError),
    Range(String),
    Other(String),
}
Expand description

An error from Runlight: a database that failed, or something refused with a code the dashboard says in its own words.

Variants§

§

Db(DbError)

The database failed.

§

Settings(CodedError)

A setting refused (the SDK’s SettingsError, a RangeError).

§

Mail(CodedError)

The mail service refused, or is not set up (MailError).

A short link that cannot be made (LinkError).

§

Range(String)

Something asked for that is not there (the SDK’s plain RangeError, such as “Unknown link”).

§

Other(String)

Anything else, with its message.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Error

Source

pub fn message(&self) -> &str

The English message.

Source

pub fn coded(&self) -> Option<&CodedError>

The code and params of an error that carries them.

Source

pub fn settings( message: impl Into<String>, code: &str, params: &[(&str, &str)], ) -> Error

A SettingsError.
