Fields

column: usize

Which column was summarized.

rows: u64

Rows in the column, nulls included.

distinct: u64

Distinct non-null values, as the summary reports them.

exact: bool

Whether that distinct count is exact rather than a sketch estimate.

order: Order

Which way the values run.

summary_bytes: usize

What the summary section takes in the file.

sketch_bytes: usize

What the sketches section takes in the file.

column_bytes: u64

What the column takes in the file, which is what the budget is a share of.

built: bool

Whether the sections were kept. False means they were built, measured, and found to cost more than section 3.8 allows, so the file does not have them and every query plans as though statistics had never been implemented.

build: Duration

How long the build took, the reading of the column included.
