The per chunk working space of one Prepared.

One per pipeline instance and never shared, which is the mutable half of the split the module documentation describes. It is handed back in rather than made inside Prepared::evaluate so that the array of slots survives from one chunk to the next instead of being allocated a hundred thousand times over a scan.
