Bulk

Struct Bulk

Source
pub struct Bulk {
    pub to: Value,
    pub with: Value,
    pub length: Option<Value>,
}
Expand description

The three parts of a bulk memory operation, taken apart so that nothing has to know the order.

It exists because the length is a number on almost every one of these and a value on a few, and a reader that takes the operands apart itself is a reader that can get the number from the payload without noticing that this one has an operand instead. Asking for this hands back the length either way and there is no shape of it that reads as a length when it is not one.

Fields§

§to: Value

Where it writes.

§with: Value

What it puts there: the address it reads for a copy, the byte for a fill.

§length: Option<Value>

How many bytes, where the program works the count out rather than the compiler.

None is the ordinary one, where the count is MemInfo::size.
