}Expand description
The two ways the address of a symbol is come by.
Fields§
§near: ReachA symbol this image defines, whose address is a fixed distance from the code.
far: ReachA symbol another image may define, whose address is read out of the global offset table.
slot: ReachA pointer this image holds, read where the name it points to is reached through it, which is how COFF reaches a name in a DLL or one another object may define.
thread: ReachHow far a thread-local variable is from the thread pointer, which is read out of the global offset table too, from a slot the link fills in with that distance.
pointer: PointerThe thread pointer itself.
indexed: Option<Indexed>How a Windows thread finds its copy of a thread-local variable, where this machine has
been taught. See Indexed.
teb: Option<Teb>The same on a machine that keeps the TEB in a register rather than a segment, which is
AArch64. See Teb.
