Enum Fmt

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum Fmt { Type0, Type1, Type2, Type3, }
Expand description

The 2-bit fmt field selecting one of the 4 Chunk Message Header formats (§5.3.1.1, §5.3.1.2).

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

Type0

Type 0 (§5.3.1.2.1): the full 11-byte header.

§

Type1

Type 1 (§5.3.1.2.2): 7-byte header, inherits message stream id.

§

Type2

Type 2 (§5.3.1.2.3): 3-byte header, inherits length/type/stream id.

§

Type3

Type 3 (§5.3.1.2.4): no header, inherits everything.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Fmt

Source

pub fn name(&self) -> &'static str

The spec token for this fmt value.

Source

pub const fn from_bits(bits: u8) -> Result<Self, RtmpError>

Decode the 2-bit wire value (0..=3) into a Fmt.

§Errors

RtmpError::Malformed if bits is not in 0..=3.

Source

pub const fn to_bits(self) -> u8

Encode this fmt back to its 2-bit wire value (0..=3).
