pub struct Evidence {

    pub booleans: usize,
    pub integers: usize,
    pub floats: usize,
    pub dates: usize,
    pub timestamps: usize,

Expand description

How many of a column’s cells parsed as each type. A cell counts for every type it parses as: 7 is an integer and a float, a date is also a timestamp.

Fields§

§cells: usize

Every cell.

§nulls: usize

Null tokens.

§booleans: usize

Booleans.

§integers: usize

Integers.

§floats: usize

Numbers (integers included).

§dates: usize

Dates.

§timestamps: usize

Timestamps (dates included).

Implementations§

Source§

impl Evidence

Source

pub fn values(&self) -> usize

The non-null cells.

Source

pub fn parsed(&self, data_type: InferredType) -> usize

How many non-null cells parse as data_type.

Source

pub fn best(&self) -> InferredType

The narrowest type every non-null cell parses as.

Source

pub fn closest(&self) -> Option<(InferredType, usize)>

The typed reading most cells support, for a text column: (type, count), or None when no cell parses as anything.
