What a Bus found happening, handed to the callback of Bus::enumerate and Bus::poll.

Variants

Attached(Device)

A device was brought up: reset, addressed, and ready to talk to.

Detached

A device is gone — the port it was on no longer reports it connected. Its address has already been freed and may be handed to something else on the next attach, so a driver holding this device should stop using it here rather than later.

Unplugging a hub reports every device that was behind it, deepest first, and the hub itself last.

Fields

hub_address: u8

Address of the hub whose port the device was on.

port: u8

That hub’s downstream port (1-based).

address: u8

The address the device had, now free.
