A keyboard shortcut declared by a native extension (e.g. "space" for push-to-talk). The host records it so the TUI can route keys to it; the owning plugin receives the key via its Input event handler.

key is a normalized key name ("space", "enter", "c", "f1") matching the editor’s keybinding vocabulary.
