ReloadReport

Struct ReloadReport

Source
pub struct ReloadReport {
    pub applied: usize,
    pub unchanged: usize,
    pub unknown: usize,
    pub escalations: Vec<EscalationReason>,
    pub parse_error: Option<String>,
}
Expand description

Outcome of reloading one edited file.

Fields§

§applied: usize

Sites hot-swapped (shape changed, safe).

§unchanged: usize

Sites whose shape did not change.

§unknown: usize

view! sites with no matching running site — a new view! (new compiled code) → needs a restart to take effect.

§escalations: Vec<EscalationReason>

Sites that changed in a way needing compiled code (Tier 2/0).

§parse_error: Option<String>

The file didn’t parse (mid-edit) — do nothing, wait for the next save.

Implementations§

Source§

impl ReloadReport

Source

pub fn hot_swapped(&self) -> bool

A safe data reload happened — repaint, don’t restart.

Source

pub fn needs_restart(&self) -> bool

Something needs compiled code — the watcher should fall back to a Tier 0 rebuild + restart.

Source

pub fn ignored(&self) -> bool

The edit couldn’t be parsed (likely mid-typing) — ignore it.
