Configuration for EncodeBuffer adaptive behavior.

Fields§

§min_capacity: usize

Minimum capacity to keep (do not shrink below this).

§ema_alpha: f64

EMA smoothing factor in (0,1]. Higher alpha -> more sensitive to recent writes.

§shrink_ratio_trigger: f64

Shrink trigger ratio: current_capacity >= ema_size * shrink_ratio_trigger => consider shrink.

§shrink_target_factor: f64

Shrink target factor: target_capacity = max(min_capacity, ema_size * shrink_target_factor)

§shrink_cooldown: Duration

Minimum time between two shrink operations (cooldown).

§min_shrink_threshold: usize

Absolute lower bound to consider shrink (if capacity <= this, do not shrink).
