A deterministic RocketMQ protocol contract violation.
Header variants contain only static schema metadata and never retain raw
wire values. Typed configuration sources remain available through
std::error::Error::source, while their text is excluded from this
error’s fixed display messages.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
CheckpointSchemaVersion
A checkpoint uses an unsupported manifest schema version.
InvalidCheckpointField
A checkpoint field violates a fixed validation rule.
InvalidCheckpointOffsets
Checkpoint offsets violate a fixed ordering rule.
MissingStoreMembers
A checkpoint set does not contain a Store member.
DuplicateStoreMember
A checkpoint set repeats a Store member.
CheckpointSetBindingMismatch
A checkpoint artifact does not match its set barrier.
DestructiveRollback
A checkpoint permits destructive rollback behavior.
RestoreVerificationIncomplete
Restore verification does not prove every required invariant.
Missing
A field declared as required was absent.
InvalidValue
A present field could not be decoded as its declared wire type.
Fields
expected: HeaderValueKindExpected protocol value category.
Conflict
Canonical and alias keys carried different values.
DynamicFieldConflict
A typed value and dynamic extension field disagreed.
LegacyValidation
A legacy custom-header validation hook failed.
LegacyMapConversionFailed
A legacy header could not provide its compatibility map.
Validation
A header-specific validation rule failed.
Fields
JavaRange
An unsigned Rust value exceeded its declared signed Java range.
KeyLengthOverflow
A wire key cannot be represented by the ROCKETMQ binary format.
ValueLengthOverflow
A wire value cannot be represented by the ROCKETMQ binary format.
ExtensionFieldsLengthOverflow
The complete extension-field payload exceeded its signed length field.
DynamicKeyLengthOverflow
A dynamic extension-field key exceeded Java’s signed 16-bit length.
DynamicValueLengthOverflow
A dynamic extension-field value exceeded its signed 32-bit length.
Direct binary encoding was requested for a header without that capability.
InvalidSerializeType(InvalidRemotingSerializeType)
Process remoting configuration selects an unsupported serialization type.
RemotingDefaultsConflict(RemotingCommandDefaultsConflict)
Process remoting defaults conflict with an initialized value.
BlankSubscriptionGroup
A subscription-group name is blank.
SubscriptionGroupTooLong
A subscription-group name exceeds the supported length.
SubscriptionGroupIllegalCharacters
A subscription-group name contains unsupported characters.
DuplicateSubscriptionGroup
A batch contains the same subscription-group name more than once.
