Fake

Struct Fake

Source
pub struct Fake { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

An HTTP client that replies from a script.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Fake

Source

pub fn new() -> Self

A client with nothing to say yet.

Source

pub fn reply(self, status: u16, body: &Value) -> Self

Answer the next request with this status and JSON body.

Source

pub fn reply_with(self, response: HttpResponse) -> Self

Answer the next request with exactly this response.

Source

pub fn sent(&self) -> &[HttpRequest]

Every request the run made, in order.

Source

pub fn waited(&self) -> &[Duration]

Every wait the run asked for, in order — the delays a retry wanted, which a test can assert on without spending them.

Source§

impl Fake

A blocking HttpClient that records the waits asked of it instead of sleeping through them.

crate::execute sleeps on the calling thread, so a test that wants a retry’s delay counted rather than spent drives crate::Run itself; this is the recorder it uses.

Source

pub fn note_wait(&mut self, duration: Duration)

Note that the run asked to wait, without waiting.
