PGP via gpg(1). Decrypt/verify happens automatically when a viewed message is PGP; signing and encrypting are chosen at the send prompt. Passphrases are gpg-agent’s business; rmut never sees them.

Fields

command: String

The gpg executable (a name looked up in $PATH or a full path).

sign_key: Option<String>

Signing key for –local-user; gpg’s default key when unset.

sign_by_default: bool

Preselect signing / encrypting for new drafts (the compose menu’s security menu can still change it per message).

encrypt_by_default: bool

reply_sign: bool

mutt’s $crypt_replysign: a reply to a signed message defaults to signed. $crypt_replyencrypt: a reply to an encrypted one defaults to encrypted (on in mutt, off here until asked). $crypt_replysignencrypted: a reply to signed-and-encrypted mail defaults to signed too. All off by default.
