What to check and against which backends.
Fields§
§backends: Vec<FusionTarget>Backends whose op claim + fusion pipeline to analyze against.
dispatch: bool§fusion: bool§numeric: bool§repr: boolProducer–consumer representation compatibility
(rlx_ir::repr_check). On by default: it is a static, device-free
check whose whole purpose is to catch representation mismatches BEFORE a
backend computes a wrong number from them.
schedule: boolPhysical-schedule quality for GPU dispatch
(rlx_gpu_dispatch::cost). Notes only — nothing here is wrong, it is
work the hardware will do and throw away.
plan: boolProgram-safety and schedule-semantics gates over the memory plan
(rlx_compile::plan_check). Errors: an overlapping live buffer does
not degrade output, it returns another tensor’s bytes.
budget: boolPer-architecture resource budget: arena bytes, host-boundary traffic and
precision churn (Budget). Notes only — this axis reports what a
correct program will cost, never that it is wrong.
