Variants

Failsafe

Failsafe schema (§10.1): scalars → str, sequences → seq, mappings → map.

Json

JSON schema (§10.2): narrow pattern set; unmatched plain scalars produce UnresolvedScalar.

Core

Core schema (§10.3): superset of JSON; unmatched plain scalars fall back to str.
