NeighborChange

Struct NeighborChange

Source
pub struct NeighborChange {
    pub interface: String,
    pub interface_alias: Option<String>,
    pub kind: NeighborChangeKind,
    pub neighbor: Option<Neighbor>,
}
Expand description

One neighbor-table change, as pushed by crate::Subscription (NOTIFICATION, after a SUBSCRIBE).

lldpd sends one of these per changed neighbor on any interface - the protocol has no per-interface filtering, so check interface yourself if you only care about some of them.

Fields§

§interface: String§interface_alias: Option<String>§kind: NeighborChangeKind§neighbor: Option<Neighbor>

The neighbor this change is about. Upstream always populates this in practice (see src/daemon/lldpd.c’s three call sites of levent_ctl_notify), but nothing in the protocol requires it, so this stays an Option rather than asserting it’s always present.
