LockFreeQueue

Struct LockFreeQueue

Source
pub struct LockFreeQueue<T> { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

A high-performance bounded MPMC queue using crossbeam-channel

This queue is optimized for producer-consumer patterns common in streaming:

  • Network receive -> Message processing
  • Message batching -> Disk write
  • Raft log append -> Replication

Implementations§

Source§

impl<T> LockFreeQueue<T>

Source

pub fn bounded(capacity: usize) -> Self

Create a new bounded queue

Source

pub fn unbounded() -> Self

Create a new unbounded queue (use with caution)

Source

pub fn try_push(&self, item: T) -> Result<(), T>

Try to enqueue an item without blocking

Source

pub fn push(&self, item: T) -> Result<(), T>

Blocking enqueue

Source

pub fn try_pop(&self) -> Option<T>

Try to dequeue an item without blocking

Source

pub fn pop(&self) -> Option<T>

Blocking dequeue

Source

pub fn pop_batch(&self, max: usize) -> Vec<T>

Try to dequeue up to max items

Source

pub fn len(&self) -> usize

Get approximate queue length

Source

pub fn is_empty(&self) -> bool

Check if queue is empty

Source

pub fn capacity(&self) -> usize

Get queue capacity

Source

pub fn fill_ratio(&self) -> f64

Get fill percentage (0.0 - 1.0)

Source

pub fn stats(&self) -> QueueStats

Get statistics
