EncryptedData

Struct EncryptedData

Source
pub struct EncryptedData(/* private fields */);
Expand description

Encrypted content.

A distinct type from WrappedKey deliberately. The bytes of a container are the same whether the content was a key or a document; what differs is the claim the ceremony made about it, so a document that reached the artifact store cannot be handed to a step that installs keys.

Implementations§

Source§

impl EncryptedData

Source

pub fn new( scheme: WrapScheme, description: WrapDescription, data: Vec<u8>, ) -> Result<Self, IncoherentContainer>

Pair encrypted content with the scheme and the description of what was done.

§Errors

Returns IncoherentContainer if the scheme does not admit the description.

Source

pub fn scheme(&self) -> WrapScheme

The scheme encrypted content went into.

Source

pub fn description(&self) -> &WrapDescription

What the operation did, read back from the artifact.

Source

pub fn data(&self) -> &[u8] ⓘ

The container’s bytes.
