Replaces the (algorithm, label, slot_hint) triplet with a structured type that can carry PKCS#11 policy attributes.

Fields

algorithm: KeyAlgorithm

Key algorithm.

label: String

Human-readable label.

policy: KeyPolicy

Security and usage policy.

location_hint: Option<String>

Backend-specific location hint. PIV: “9c” maps to Signature slot. PKCS#11: slot index or partition label. Software: ignored.
