InMemorySink

Struct InMemorySink

Source
pub struct InMemorySink { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

In-memory sink that collects every recorded StepFact.

Useful for tests and for tooling that wants to inspect the fact stream without going through disk.

Implementations§

Source§

impl InMemorySink

Source

pub fn new() -> Self

Create an empty sink.

Source

pub fn facts(&self) -> &[StepFact]

Recorded facts in the order they arrived.

Source

pub fn len(&self) -> usize

Number of facts recorded so far.

Source

pub fn is_empty(&self) -> bool

Whether any fact has been recorded.

Trait Implementations§

Source§

impl Debug for InMemorySink

Source§

fn fmt(&self, f: &mut Formatter<'_>) -> Result

Formats the value using the given formatter. Read more

impl Default for InMemorySink

Source§

fn default() -> InMemorySink

Returns the “default value” for a type. Read more
Source§

impl TranscriptSink for InMemorySink

Source§

fn record(&mut self, at: DateTime<Utc>, fact: &StepFact) -> Result<()>

Record a single fact, stamped with the caller-supplied event time at. Must persist before returning, the file-backed implementation calls sync_data so a power loss after record returns cannot drop the fact. Read more
Source§

fn finalize(&mut self) -> Result<TranscriptFingerprint>

Finalize the transcript and return its fingerprint. Read more
