#[non_exhaustive]pub enum CertProfile {
RootCa,
SubCa,
TlsServer,
CodeSigning,
EndEntity,
}Expand description
The certificate shape an issue_certificate step asks for.
DSL vocabulary rather than a backend concern: the author writes the name,
and the handler turns it into X.509 extensions. path_len is a separate
parameter, not part of a profile’s identity, so this enum carries no
run-specific values.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
RootCa
Self-signed CA at the top of a chain.
SubCa
CA below another, constrained by path_len. Also written
intermediate_ca.
TlsServer
TLS server certificate.
CodeSigning
Code-signing certificate.
EndEntity
A leaf with no CA rights and no extended key usage.
