Confidence level for DeadCodeReport::dead_fraction.

Callers should interpret dead_fraction according to this indicator. When entry-point coverage is sparse (common in test-heavy corpora or macro-dispatched frameworks), the raw fraction can be misleading — the cluster list is always more trustworthy than the absolute number.

Variants§

High

Entry-point coverage is dense; dead_fraction is a quantitative signal.

Medium

dead_fraction is directional; trust the cluster list more than the number.

§

Low

dead_fraction may mislead (e.g., tests-dominated corpus); use cluster member_defs + lsp_references to verify each candidate before deletion.
