Variants

Unspecified = 0

Invalid for a request: callers must explicitly select an output contract.

AppendFragments = 1

Responses are append-only delta fragments: each five-second window of audio is transcribed once, on its own, so a fragment is never revised. Concatenate them in arrival order (including newline separators between transcription windows) to form the transcript. The final done text equals that concatenation.

RevisedHypotheses = 2

Responses are full replacing hypothesis transcripts: each hypothesis carries the complete current transcript and a monotonically increasing revision, and entirely replaces the previous one. The final done text equals the last hypothesis and carries its revision; an utterance with no recognized speech may emit no hypothesis and finishes with an empty final at revision zero.
