ThompsonConfig

Struct ThompsonConfig

Source
pub struct ThompsonConfig {
    pub alpha_prior: f64,
    pub beta_prior: f64,
}
Available on crate feature bandit only.
Expand description

Configuration for ThompsonSampling.

§Examples

use rill_ml::bandit::ThompsonConfig;

let config = ThompsonConfig {
    alpha_prior: 1.0,
    beta_prior: 1.0,
};
assert!((config.alpha_prior - 1.0).abs() < 1e-12);

Fields§

§alpha_prior: f64

Prior alpha (success) parameter for the Beta distribution.

Must be finite and positive. The default 1.0 gives a uniform prior Beta(1, 1).

§beta_prior: f64

Prior beta (failure) parameter for the Beta distribution.

Must be finite and positive. The default 1.0 gives a uniform prior Beta(1, 1).
