A refusal. Every variant is fatal at startup; there is no inspectable fallback.

Variants§

§

RemoteDebuggingArgument

The process was launched with a remote-debugging or auto-open-DevTools argument.

Fields

§

BrowserPolicyInjects

A machine or user policy injects a debugging browser argument into WebView2.

Fields

§source: String
§switch: String
§

BrowserRuntimeRedirected

A machine or user policy makes WebView2 start a browser from another folder than the installed runtime.

Fields

§source: String
§folder: String
§

RegistryUnreadable

The Windows policy registry could not be read, so the policy cannot be ruled out.

Fields

§detail: String
§

RemoteDebugPortLive

A remote-debugging port file written by this process’s WebView2 exists.

Fields

§path: PathBuf
§

NotContentOnly

Content webviews were registered but the policy is Denied.

§

ContentDevtoolsNotCompiled

ContentOnly needs the content-devtools feature (it enables Tauri’s devtools).

§

InvalidLabel

The label is empty or not a valid Tauri label.

Fields

§label: String
§

MainWebview

The main (app UI) webview can never be a content webview.

Fields

§label: String
§

ContentHasIpc

A capability applies to the content webview and grants permissions.

Fields

§label: String
§capability: String
§

CapabilitiesUnreadable

A capability document could not be parsed.

Fields

§detail: String
§

AppAclManifestMissing

The app did not attest an application ACL manifest.

Fields

§label: String
§

NotAContentWebview

The webview is not a registered content webview.

Fields

§label: String
§

NotInstalled

The shell’s DevTools gate is not installed.

§

WebviewMissing

The webview does not exist.

Fields

§label: String
§

NativePolicyNotApplied

DevTools could not be disabled in a denied webview, so the webview is refused.

Fields

§label: String
§detail: String
