Expand description

What the host configures. Every string here is the host’s own choice: the crate never names a product.

Fields§

§product_name: String

The host’s product name, reported in Snapshot::product.

§alias: String

How other devices list this device.

§port: u16

Listen port (TLS). 0 picks a free port; Service::bound_port reports it.

§device_type: String

Device class announced to others: “desktop”, “mobile”, “web”, “headless” or “server”.

§device_model: String

Model announced to others (empty for none).

§save_dir: PathBuf

Where received files go.

§trust_path: PathBuf

The JSON trust store file. Created on the first change.

§user_agent: String

Sent as the HTTP User-Agent on every outgoing request.

§quarantine_agent: String

Written into the macOS quarantine attribute as the agent name.

§temp_suffix: String

Suffix of the temporary file a receive is written to until it is complete (“.pulse-part” for Pulse).

§log_prefix: String

Prefix of the diagnostic lines written to stderr (e.g. “pulse sharing:”).

§policy: Policy

Limits and folder names. Policy::default() is Pulse’s current behaviour.
