Expand description

Runtime figures of a running sidecar, computed on call by Sidecar::status.

Fields§

§pid: u32§requests_sent: u64

Requests sent so far (the frame sequence).

§events_buffered: usize

Frames held in Sidecar::events (neither hello nor an awaited response). Bounded: at most twice the event limit, default 2,048 frames.

§events_dropped: u64

Frames trimmed from Sidecar::events since the sidecar started.

§stderr_bytes: usize

Bytes of engine stderr kept in memory: the last stderr limit’s worth (default 256 KiB).

§stderr_dropped_bytes: u64

Bytes of engine stderr trimmed from memory since the sidecar started.

§process: Option<ProcessUsage>

Resident memory, CPU time and I/O counters of the harness process (the sidecar’s reader threads run in it; the engine child is a separate process), or None when the host cannot report them. See rightkit_child_process::ProcessUsage.
