Unpreserved

Enum Unpreserved

Source
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum Unpreserved { ReadOnly, Encrypted, Owner, Group, Mode, Acl, }
Expand description

What a replacement file would not keep of the file it replaces, found before anything was written. See “What a replacement keeps” in the module docs for what is, and is not, examined on each platform.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

ReadOnly

The file is read-only (Windows attribute).

§

Encrypted

The file is EFS-encrypted (Windows attribute); the replacement would be plaintext.

§

Owner

The replacement would have a different owner (Unix).

§

Group

The replacement would have a different group (Unix).

§

Mode

The replacement would have different permission bits (Unix).

§

Acl

The file is owner-only and has, or may have, an extended ACL the replacement would not carry, or the replacement itself got one (macOS).
