Where in a call an error happened. Carried by HttpError::Timeout and HttpError::Transport so apps can keep their own per-phase messages.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

Connect

Name lookup, TCP connect or TLS handshake.

Headers

Sending the request and waiting for the response headers.

Body

Reading the response body.

Redirect

Any phase of a redirect hop after the first request, or an exhausted redirect limit.
