#[non_exhaustive]pub enum JournalSelect {
WalWithFallback,
WalStrict,
Delete,
Truncate,
}Expand description
How the journal mode is chosen. WAL needs working shared-memory locking, which network filesystems often lack and which SQLite will silently downgrade; the default therefore verifies the mode that took effect and falls back to a rollback journal.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
WalWithFallback
WAL when the filesystem honors it and is not a detected network mount; else a
rollback journal (TRUNCATE with DbOptions::per_host_fallback, else DELETE).
WalStrict
WAL or fail (no fallback).
Delete
Rollback journal, deleted after each transaction.
Truncate
Rollback journal, truncated after each transaction.
