#[non_exhaustive]pub enum RetireMode {
RenameAside,
Trash,
}Expand description
What RootCutover::retire_old_root does with the old root.
Variants (Non-exhaustive)§
This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
RenameAside
Rename the old root to <name>.rk-retired-<id> beside it. Recoverable by renaming back;
frees no space.
Trash
Send the old root to the platform trash (macOS only today: rightkit_fs::move_to_trash
reports Unavailable on Windows and the call changes nothing there).
