The Anthropic API supports two TTL values:

• "5m" — 5 minutes (default when ttl is omitted)
• "1h" — 1 hour (requires the extended-cache-ttl-2025-04-11 beta header)

Variants

FiveMinutes

5-minute TTL (default).

OneHour

1-hour TTL. Requires the extended-cache-ttl-2025-04-11 beta header.
