ContractLineage

Struct ContractLineage

Source
pub struct ContractLineage(/* private fields */);
Expand description

A bounded exact contract lineage name.

The text is held behind an Arc because this identifier is copied along every command record, index entry and audit target on the single writer thread; a String field made each of those copies a heap allocation. Validation, ordering, hashing and display use the exact same str. The closed owner retires its shared backing before releasing its charge.

Implementations§

Source§

impl ContractLineage

Source

pub fn new(value: impl Into<String>) -> Result<Self, TextIdError>

Validates and creates a contract lineage without normalizing its text.

Source

pub fn as_str(&self) -> &str

Borrows the exact contract lineage name.

Source

pub fn as_bytes(&self) -> &[u8] ⓘ

Borrows the exact UTF-8 identity bytes.
