Struct retry_future::RetryFuture
source · [−]pub struct RetryFuture<F, E, RS>where
F: FutureFactory<E>,{ /* private fields */ }Expand description
A future which is trying to resolve inner future until it exits successfully or return an error.
The main point is that you handle all the logic inside your future and construct a helper type or use one of existing which implements RetryStrategy trait which is responsible for configuring retry mechanism
Implementations
sourceimpl<F, E, RS> RetryFuture<F, E, RS>where
F: FutureFactory<E>,
RS: RetryStrategy,
impl<F, E, RS> RetryFuture<F, E, RS>where
F: FutureFactory<E>,
RS: RetryStrategy,
sourcepub fn new(factory: F, retry_strategy: RS) -> Self
pub fn new(factory: F, retry_strategy: RS) -> Self
FutureFactory has a blanket implementation for FnMut closures. This means that you can pass a closure instead of implementing FutureFactory for your type.
See examples to understand how to use this.
