kind: u8

kind.

max_block: u32

The largest decompressed block of the section (a dictionary chunk, a tile, a leaf, …), as the writer measured it; 0 = not recorded, read under BLOCK_CEILING. Readers refuse to decode past it.

offset: u64

Offset relative to its region base (the front base, or data_offset).

len: u64

Stored length.

digest: [u8; 16]

BLAKE3(stored bytes)[..16].
