MemoryBudget

Struct MemoryBudget

Source
pub struct MemoryBudget {
    pub block_cache: u64,
    pub dict_cache: u64,
    pub tile_cache: u64,
}
Expand description

How a total --memory-budget-mb splits across the export’s three bounded consumers. The three caps sum to the total less a small reserve (≤ 128 MiB) for the window’s buffers and one window’s in-flight reads, which no cache owns. Rete::set_memory_budget further subtracts the open’s fixed directories (Rete::fixed_overhead) from the dictionary share, so the live heap of a dump stays within the total.

Fields§

§block_cache: u64

Raw file-block LRU (the BlockCacheReader that backs the ranged reader).

§dict_cache: u64

Decompressed dictionary chunk bodies (the old ~4.3 GB export floor).

§tile_cache: u64

Decoded index tiles of the scanned permutation.
