pub async fn send(&self, mail: Mail) -> Result

Sends mail through the configured driver (the log and memory drivers only record it). When it fails and MAIL_FAILOVER names other mailers, they’re tried in order; a mail that can’t be sent at all (a bad address) isn’t handed on.

Messages sent so far that the mailer kept: all of them with the memory driver, the last 50 with APP_DEBUG on.
