Variants (Non-exhaustive)

Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.

Text

Text; filtered with “contains”, “starts with”, “ends with”, “equals”, or a pattern with %.

Number

A number, right-aligned; filtered with a minimum and a maximum.

Money

An amount in the smallest unit (cents, fils), with thousands separators; filtered like a number.

Date

A date (NaiveDate); filtered with a date range.

DateTime

A moment (DateTime); filtered with a date range.

Bool

Yes or no; filtered with a choice.

Select

One of a few values; filtered by picking some of them.

Tags

Several of a few values, stored as a JSON array of strings (Json<Vec<String>>); filtered by rows having any of the picked ones.

Custom

Drawn by the page’s template (caller(row, column)): charts, buttons, links. Not sorted or filtered.

Image

An image whose URL is the value (an avatar, a product photo).

Color

A CSS color (#0a7d5a) shown as a swatch with its code.
