Ordered worst-last, so a target’s fidelity is the max over its streams.

Variants

Copy

Every kept stream is copied through: the payload bytes are unchanged.

Lossless

Something is re-encoded, but every re-encode is mathematically lossless.

Lossy

At least one stream is re-encoded through a lossy codec.
