Variants

CodeQl

GitHub’s own analyzer. Free under terms that cover an open-source codebase alone, so a landing reads the binding’s declared licence first and refuses the pair where it states no such codebase.

Semgrep

Semgrep Community Edition, which carries no licence condition on the codebase it scans and runs on either forge.
