Endpoint metadata for OpenAPI generation

This struct is automatically submitted to the global inventory by HTTP method decorator macros (#[get], #[post], etc.) at compile time. It can be collected at runtime using inventory::iter::<EndpointMetadata>().

Fields

path: &'static str

URL path pattern for this endpoint (e.g., “/users/{id}/”).

method: &'static str

HTTP method name (e.g., “GET”, “POST”).

name: Option<&'static str>

Optional route name for URL reversal.

function_name: &'static str

Name of the handler function.

module_path: &'static str

Module path where the handler is defined.

request_body_type: Option<&'static str>

Type name of the request body (e.g., “CreateUserRequest”) Extracted from parameter extractors like Json<T>, Form<T>, Body<T>

request_content_type: Option<&'static str>

Content-Type of the request body (e.g., “application/json”, “application/x-www-form-urlencoded”)

responses: &'static [EndpointResponse]

Additional response definitions beyond the default 200 Each entry: (status_code, description)

headers: &'static [EndpointHeader]

Response headers Each entry: (header_name, description)
