Expand description

The kind of a securities identifier — its type tag, with no payload.

This is the discriminant of SecurityId: SecurityId::kind returns it, and it is the natural value to switch on, store, or compare when the identifier’s type matters but its bytes do not.

§Examples

use regit_identifiers::detect::{IdentifierKind, SecurityId};

let id = SecurityId::detect("US0378331005").unwrap();
assert_eq!(id.kind(), IdentifierKind::Isin);
