pub enum MoveReason {
CapacityBalance,
HotspotRelief,
}Expand description
Why the planner proposed moving a range.
Variants§
CapacityBalance
The primary signal: the source member is over its weighted-capacity fair share and the target is under its own. Moving the range relieves a disk-pressure (availability) risk.
HotspotRelief
The secondary signal: the range is a read/write hotspot on an over-loaded owner, and a target with both load and capacity headroom can absorb it. Taken only when it does not create a capacity problem.
