Why a failing owner’s range could not be failed over. Surfaced rather than silently skipped, so an operator can see a range that needs attention.

Variants§

NoSafeCandidate

The owner is failing but no replica is a safe candidate — none is an authorized data member with catch-up evidence covering the commit watermark. Failing over here could lose committed writes.
