Expand description

A manifest record for one emitted columnar segment. Always derived: backup/restore skip these and recovery rebuilds rather than restores them (ADR 0069 §1).

Fields§

§segment_id: u64§first_lsn: u64

Inclusive LSN range this segment materializes.

§last_lsn: u64§row_count: u64§sealed_crc32: u32

CRC-32 over the sealed (post-envelope) bytes — the “standard checksum” that guards the segment file before it is ever decrypted.

§derived: bool

Always true: a projection segment is never source of truth.
